the den

Swanky, contemporary and chic, The Den is a bar and cigar lounge carved into the topmost level of a commercial building in South Goa. A covert arched corridor leads the way to this 1300 sq.ft. lounge, which much like a natural den, is designed to be dark,cozy and mystical, with natural leather-finish Kadappa stone on the floor and charcoal tones enveloping the ceiling and walls.

The dark interiors are offset with custom-made furniture made from teak wood in a natural finish and rich indigo fabrics. The bar counter is finished in a brass base, black high gloss front, and teak wood top. The terrazzo table tops are cast using recycled alcohol bottles in shades of blue and green. Minimal brass light fixtures and planters accentuate the space while the old-world decor and tropical indoor plants breathe life into The Den.
